■3rd Person POV■

Y/N opened her eyes, her alarm rings. She turned it off and walk out of her room.

When she's heading to the bathroom, a sleeping giant Owl is catching her attention. Bokuto ended up stayed the night and sleeps on the sofa.

Y/N remember last night when they pour their feelings out. She looks at Bokuto's sleeping face. After all this time, she could see it again.

Y/N took a quick shower and dressed up. She makes a cup of tea and pour a glass of milk, then brought the tray to the table in front of the sofa.

She then crouches down next to the sofa to wake Bokuto up. She put her hand on Bokuto's broad shoulder, as she shakes him to wake him up.

Y/N: Bokuto san... Bokuto san... wake up.... you have a flight at 12 today. You have to pack your stuff in the hotel.

Y/N lightly shake Bokuto's body, as he starting to wake up. Bokuto opens his eyes, only to be faced with Y/N beautiful faces.

Bokuto : Good morning, Y/N~

Bokuto smiles and greet her, as Y/N was taken aback a little. Her face grew warm as it's been a while since he says good morning to her directly.

Y/N told Bokuto to drink the warm milk, as she sits next to him and drink her tea.  She then washes the cup and glass while Bokuto washes up a little.

Then the two got ready to leave Y/N's house. Bokuto walks with Y/N to the clinic and then decided to go back to his hotel.

Y/N: Be careful Bokuto san... please take good care of your hand. See a doctor in Japan okay...

Bokuto nodded. Y/N decided to fix things with Bokuto. They're going to start over, slowly. They're not back together yet as Y/N said she still needs time and Bokuto respects that.

Bokuto: Y/N... will you call me by my name again? Call me Kotarou...

Y/N looks up at Kotaro and fiddle her fingers.

Y/N: umm.. could that wait, a little longer? I...

Bokuto: it's okay!

Y/N stares at Bokuto's face, he's giving Y/N a reassuring smile.

Bokuto : I will wait! Well, I guess I'll leave now... see you later Y/N!

Bokuto waves his hand and walks away but then he turned back and runs to Y/N. He hugs Y/N making her flustered.

Y/N  : Bokuto san!

Bokuto: I'm sorry I need it... it'll be a while till I could see you again...

After that Bokuto excuses himself again and jogs to the hotel. Leaving Y/N with her pounding heart.

■Y/N POV■

Last night I talked it out with Bokuto san, how we can try to start again. We're not together, but I'm gonna start with opening up more to him.

How he suddenly appeared in front of me again, how he gave me gifts and waited for my shift to end, how he stays late to say good morning to me, and how said all of that last night. I can't ignore it anymore...

That time when I left, I left with my feelings for him inside. After not seeing him I thought I finally lost my feelings, but I didn't.

I'm currently talking with my colleagues at the front desk. I look out and the sky is already dark. Just then a message came.

*Ting
From : Bokuto Kotarou san
Y/N I've just arrived. I'm going to have lunch with Akaashi. ( ･ิω･ิ)/

I read the text and feel my mouth turned into a smile. Just then another text came in.

*Ting
From : Bokuto Kotarou san
I wish you are here. I miss you already (*¨*)♡

I could feel my face grew warm. My colleague teases me as they see my blushing face. I tried to calm myself down.

Bokuto san always straight forward with his feelings. I like that about him, overall I like him. But... I still haven't completely trust him back. But maybe after a while...

■Bokuto's POV■

I was just landed in Japan an hour ago. I'm waiting for Akaashi at a restaurant. I want to tell Akaashi about Y/N and me.

*Ting

A message came to my phone, I open it and read it.

From : Y/N Baby Owl
Good to hear you landed safely. Say hello to Akaashi kun. Have a good lunch you two. ('•᎑•')
Please take care of your hand Bokuto san, I hope it heals fast so you can play volleyball again... good luck!

Y/N uses emoticons is too much for me. She didn't reply the I miss you I sent her, but it's alright. I'm not giving up.

Bokuto : aaa~ why are you so cute?

I said it in a small voice while placing my head on the table. But I guess someone heard it.

Akaashi : who's cute Bokuto san?

Akaashi just arrived and sit in front of me. We order some food and then wait for it while talking.

Akaashi : so you mean you flew all the way to Hawaii, just so Y/N could check on your wound?

I nodded fast and proud.

Bokuto : aren't I cool! I flew to seven hours far island to try and win my girl back.

Akaashi : actually I don't know what to think about it... well anyway so how it goes? With L/N san I mean.

I look out at the window. I remember our conversation from that night.

Bokuto : it's not like we're back together... yet...

I look at Akaashi giving him my determined face.

Bokuto : but I know I got the chance to Akaashi... she said let's start over from the very beginning... I think it's good enough for now... I'm gonna earn her trust Akaashi... and I will win her heart back..  my Baby Owl.

I can feel myself grinning at what I've just proclaimed. Akaashi looks at me with a smile.

Akaashi: good for you Bokuto san, good luck!

Bokuto : yes!

I will definitely win her back. I'm gonna patiently waiting until the day she trusts me again come.

We're starting over

Slowly but surely

I'll make sure she could finally be by my side

All the time.
